Allow for break-inAm previos owner of several Birks, this is first of flip-flop style. Straps are buckle adjustable, however allow for break-in, as I found a snug fit to cause the new stiff leather straps to rub skin raw along strap area. Loosen for break-in wear, to soften the cork soles and allow foot molding as well as soften and flex the new stiff leather for a comfortitble fitted wear in the long run.
Cute sandle which looks great with shorts, skirts and summer dresses. Many complements. I chose the brown for a neutral color and ease of color coordination with clothing.
